House of Roses, INC., is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was established in January 2014. Over the years House of Roses has assisted homeless women gain a sense of stability in life and their overall wellbeing by providing shelter and other needs covered through our programs. Residents must be screened by H.O.R. staff to see if they meet criteria to be admitted into the housing program. The screening consists of questions addressing needs and safety factors. Residents of H.O.R is granted a 3-month probationary period that allows patients to reside in the facility for free under certain conditions. Resident must abide by all house rules, follow their case plan, and cannot commit any offenses/crime while residing in the facility. During the 1st 3 months residents will be given toiletries, food, and clothing with the understanding they will be actively seeking employment and following whatever needs that are outlined in their case plan. It is expected that at the end of the probationary period the resident will have secured employment to start paying rent to the facility. Employment isn’t secured and resident isn’t able to make rent payments resident will have to vacate the premises. Rent payments will be 30% of their monthly income.

Our Mission
Our mission is to serve as a holistic transitional living facility that provides a stable living environment for homeless women. In addition to providing shelter, House of Roses helps cultivate independence for homeless women.
Our Vision
Our vision is to assist homeless women in evolving and obtaining a clear concept of their self-worth and capabilities by incorporating various workshops to help build self-confidence; provide emotional and spiritual support; and build strategic partnerships with existing organizations that offer products and services to benefit women.
